The Storm Has Arrived!
The Black Berry Storm has been labeled the newest "iPhone Killer," but how well does it do when compared to the hype?
Now I'll keep this short and sweet, its good. Its not incredible, just good. Now that's not to be taken as a bad thing. The phone is by no means a bad piece of hardware, it just does not match its hype.
The Cool Things
The new age phone has a very unique touch screen, when enough pressure is applied the screen depresses slightly and clicks. This is cool because it makes typing much easier and messages typed with the touch screen comes out much more accurately.

The screen is huge and brilliantly colorful. Everything is clear and visible and the screen feels sturdy and smooth. When you touch the screen you'll notice that the screen lights up wherever you touch. The screen lends itself well to surfing the web watching videos and taking pictures.
The functionality! A Blackberry is known for its ability to do a lot of things that a computer does, such as email, with little to no problems. This Blackberry does that beautifully. If you have had a Blackberry in the past you will be right at home with this one. Emails send quickly, the web runs smoothly on the phone (ala 3G) and you will notice web pages displaying in a very high resolution (640X480).
THE CRAPPY THINGS
The biggest gripe I can come up with has to be the noticeable lag the menu can come across. When surfing through the menu the phone itself will slowdown and apps or just folders will take a few seconds longer to open. This will have you miles ahead where the phone is just hanging. This is not a huge deal, but a very noticeable one.
NO WiFi! Thats right the phone does not come equipped with WiFi. Which means when in a hot spot you're not going to be able to get a signal from the internet and surf the web that way. This wouldn't be a huge deal if phones like the iPhone didnt come equipped with WiFi.

All in all the phone comes out a winner. Its unique, sleek looking and is a great alternative for those who do not want to go the Apple way. I do recommend this phone to those who enjoy their Blackberry's as it is quite similar. I myself am looking forward to purchasing one :-)
